中国石化新闻网讯 据OGJ网站12月6日休斯敦报道，日本三井公司日前同意从壳牌海上公司收购4个位于墨西哥湾密西西比峡谷深水区块的20%股份。

这4个深水区块——MC-767区块、MC-768区块、MC-811区块和MC-812区块——位于路易斯安那州海岸以外水深1300米的海域。

这4个深水区块的总面积为93平方公里。

这4个深水区块估计拥有1亿多桶油当量的可采资源量。

Mitsui to acquire interests in four deepwater gulf blocks

Mitsui & Co. Ltd., Tokyo, has agreed to acquire a 20% interest in four Mississippi Canyon blocks in the Gulf of Mexico from Shell Offshore Inc.

The blocks—MC-767, MC-768, MC-811, and MC-812—lie in 1,300 m of water off Louisiana. They encompass 93 sq km.

Recoverable resources are estimated at more than 100 million boe.
