中国石化新闻网讯 据普氏能源咨询东京5月28日消息，日本经济产业省（METI）周一表示，日本石油天然气和金属国家公司（Jogmec）将于周三与阿塞拜疆国家石油公司Socar签署探索阿塞拜疆这个里海油气生产国上游潜力的合作备忘录。

METI的一位官员表示，根据合作备忘录，Jogmec和Socar将合作在阿塞拜疆有前途的区块进行地震地质调查，日本方面希望获得优先的勘探权。

Japan's Jogmec, Socar to sign on upstream cooperation in Azerbaijan: METI

State-owned Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corp. will sign on Wednesday a memorandum of cooperation with Azerbaijan's state-owned Socar to explore upstream potential in the Caspian oil and gas producing country, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said Monday.

Under the MOC, Jogmec and Socar will jointly cooperate to run seismic geological surveys at "promising blocks" in Azerbaijan, where Japan hopes to get preferential rights to explore, a METI official said.
